The school fashion show!
Our school hold a fashion show on last Monday,it was so wonderful! I really enjoyed this show. Students used their moods , materials to do different kinds of special clothes.really,I can not believe students can do this project very well.Now,let me introduce something on fashion show.
This was a fashion show ,so the student union invided a famous dancing group to open the show.The members of dancing groups wear beautiful clothes and show wonderful dance skills.Most of audiences became excited.After the dance, it was time for students to show their works.There are three different kinds form of clothes.There are party clothes, uniform, and formal clothes.Models wear students’ designs to show to us.Many teachers as models too! We really about that! The models were very good, they all have lesson to improve their walk skills.So when they stood on the stage,they were nature~
I thought the best part of the fashion show was when Mr Burtler began his show, because he wear our group’s design.That clothes won’t be the most beautiful,but it was the most funny one.During he walked around the stage,all people who saw the show became excited! My classmates and I all excited about it.We proud of our design!
This fashion show gave us a special felling.We really enjoyed the different special clothes,but also relax ourselves. Next year,I will do another special design to join the fashion show,I promise!

do works for pets!
It is a good time to be a volunteer during the holiday.So I decided to do some volunteer work in NanJing pets center.I choosed this work because I really like pets. I hope I can do something for them.Most of pets in NanJing Pets Center were ill,I was so unhappy about that. They were really pitiful,their masters did not give them enough power,so they did not get a good place to servive. I tried my best to help them,but I really have no things to them. I asked my teacher what I can do for them. My teacher told that I can take them run around. At a beginning, I thought that was so easy,but when I did this work,I found that was not easy! During this time,you must follow them,and give them help.Also,you need to keep watch on them. Sometimes, the pets will do some bad things like eat bad food,destroy trees.At that time,you need to stop them doing that.i never do that work before,so I really did not know how to do it.My teacher found I was in trouble,he came to me and told me skills. I thought I was a genious that I can remember these skills.After that, I can do the work by the skills and my skills became better and better.
I took the pets walk around the garden for 5 around,but I spent 3 hours! It is bad for my teacher because he just need 1 hour.Although I spent 3 hours,I felt happy too, because I can do something for these pets. Maybe I can not give them too much,but it is satisfied with it for me!

The famous temple!
During the May Holiday,I went to JiMing Temple.I have heard this temple a long time ago,but I did not go to it to visit it. So I went to visit it by this holiday.Really I was so excited about this journey,because my mother and my other friends told me that is a good place to visit.
When I went to JiMing Temple,I found there are many people went to here.
I got some informations from a nun in the temple.This temple was built in 300. At the beginning. The name of the temple are TongTai temple. In 1387, the temple changed its name into JiMing temple. In 1840th, the temple was broken because of the war. In 1984, the Nanjing government decided to rebuild the broken part of the temple again. Now ,JiMing temple is becoming very beautiful and attractive. It is one of the most peaceful and quiet place in Nanjing.I have another reason to go to the temple is I wish I can have a good future and Somebody tell me this temple is the most efficacious temple in China.I believe it.So I donated some money and burning incense to let buddha help me to get high marks.It was a very helpful trip and the monk here told us.Do not eat too much meet.Because meet is a harmful things that makes people died.I think if I eat less meer.Maybe I can lose weight.I can become handsome.This trip is very interesting I will nerver forget.And if I get high marks I should go back there and thanks to buddha.

my love~TVXQ!
I chose this performance with Jessica because we really love music.And we really like this band.Through all the performance.It's very excited and makes me happy instead of tired.After this performance.I think I will never happy like this time.So I want to introduce TVXQ to all classmate and teacher. TVXQ is a very famous band in Korea.There are five people in it.Their named HERO MAX XIAH U-KNOW and MICKY. HERO is the most handsome person in this band. U-KNOW is the Lead singer in this band. Korea boy band TVXQ make music with a happy-go-lucky attitude. You may find their music a bit noisy and childish but they do raise your spirits. On 5.4 they were coming to Nanjing to deliver their 2009 The third Asia concert. “I hope she resembles a kipper” Mayday has recently released their new album “Contentment Just My Pride”. It has been six years since their debut, and the five boys think that it’s time to review their music careers. This album includes 15 popular songs from their previous albums and 6 new singles. The band lead singer U-KNOW says the title of the album shows their thanks to their fans. Among new singles, “Kipper” was inspired from a dialogue in Stephen Chow’s film Shaolin Soccer: “If a person has no dreams, he is no better than a kipper.” Talking about his ideal girlfriend, U-KNOW says, “I hope she resembles a kipper, never rot, stay with me forever and goes well with rice！” “We fight!” A reporter once asked TVXQ whether there were any conflicts between band members. “Well, we fight!” U-KNOW answered with a smile. “Just kidding. We’ve known one another for years so there shouldn’t be any problem. And if we do have different ideas on music, we will sit down and discuss them.” The best way to relax How did TVXQ members spend their holidays? “We have no desire to travel around in holidays. The fact is, to us, the best way to relax is simply sleep! During holidays, U-KNOW sleeps 20 hours a day and spends the rest 4 resting. You know ,people get tired if they sleep too much…” Any sports activities? All band members are known as best sportsmen in terms of playing online games.
I really love their music way.I really love their team spirit.I really love TVXQ!If they will have an other performance in Nanjing or other city beside Nanjing.I will gone it at once!

BELLA NAPOLI
Last week,I went to BELLA NAPOLI to get dinner.As you know, it is the most famous restaurant in Nanjing.Also,the food in it were very expensive,but I really like this restaurant because I had a good time in it.I think it is not like KFC,so not many people know it.Now I want to introduce something about it.
Bella Napoli is the most authentic Italian cusine option in Nanjing. Once inside, patrons often feel as if they have been transported out of China. Bella Napoli serves real Italian style pizza and pasta and the atmosphere is quiet and welcoming. The ’generously proportioned’ Italian head chef is often seen roaming about the restaurant making sure guests are enjoying their meal.The complimentary buns and toast are always fresh, sometimes so fresh that the inside of the buns are still moist and warm, the way they should be. Dishes include pizza, pasta, steak, prawns, and the chef’s special Mezza-luna which is a half pizza half calzoneFor those in Nanjing craving some authentic Italian food, this author recommends Bella Napoli hands down. Today, I went to NanJing Museum to appreciate a lot of cultural relics.It is a very beautiful place to enjoy.My parents and me all enjoy this journey.I am sure,if you can visit NanJing Museum,you will

There are 11 exhibition halls in NanJing Museum.I have no time to visit all of themt .So I choose one of exhibition halls to visit.I visit Jiangnan Silk Product.I really like this exhibition halls.I know a lot of things about silk product..In NanJing, silk product is very famous.It is very hard to make silk product.Two people just can make five centimeters everyday.silk product can not replaceto make by machine.So it is very expensive.In NanJing Museum,you can find 10 beautiful silk product.

physical activity
SwimmingOn 24th Jan.
When I was travelling in SanYa. I spent the whole after in the swimming pool of the hotel.The swimming pool is so big and beautiful that I was swimming and playing water ball for nearly 6 hours. I started swimming at about 1 o’clock in the afternoon. I swam around the swimming pool and watched the other people played the beach volleyball on the manmade beach. After a long distance’s swimming, I felt a little boring but when I saw some children from Hong Kong was playing water basketball with my cousin, I swam to them at once, and picked the ball, then shoot the ball to the goal near one side of the swimming pool but it was not good. The ball landed on the manmade beach and l asked someone there to through the ball to me………. After 5 p .m, I felt a little tired and I went the other side of the swimming pool to have a rest in the water. I just lied on the surface of the water for several minutes. Then I went to swim again.
BadmintonsOn 2th Feb.
The mumbers of school badminton club went QingHuai sports centre to play badmintons. We spent about 4 hours on 2 count and 2 hours for each count. As you know Daniel is the strongest people in badminton Club. He is good at playing it. Tim does well in this, too. When I play with them I always lost the game. victor is a little shorter and he did not play it well. So I can easily win the game with him. But Leo, I played with him for about half an hour and both of us did not win. During the 4 hours activity. I felt my badminton skill is not very good but I still want to join the club because this can help me improve my badminton skill.

Being volunteer is great
This term,I did the volunteerwork for the playTHE TAMING OF THE SHREW.Teachers asked me topaint the walls.The process of painting was interesting,but also very difficult.I spent a lot of time to learn it.I also learnt how to finished work in a group.
The teacher taught us painting skills before we started our work.Really,it is very hard.The wall painting is made up of three parts.So when we painted,we must carefully!When I draw the first time ,I got a bad work.I also can not fin my mistake!Until that time ,I found skill is important and necessary.If we have no skills,I am sure we can not get a big success and we can not finish the work!
We worked it group in 5.Everyone hada their own work.We must do our own works.Some one drawn the line,someone painted the wall.Because of this ,we can finish the work more quickly than other groups.We dinished ourwork for 3 hours.

Club Activity
I went to Nanjing Foreign Language School in2008. at the beginning of the grade, I joined the badminton club .I was not good at playing badminton at all before, but I sounded that playing badminton is good for our bodies .So, I joined badminton club.
At the beginning of me joining the badminton club, I felt very excited and interesting .I play practise playing badminton every Saturday and Sunday. It was very difficult for me to play badminton with other members in our club .They are all good at play badminton, but I played it badly. I tried my best to catch the ball. But I often lost it. When I got home, I felt very tired, almost could not move .But I did not want to give up playing badminton .I thought playing badminton is very good for our bodies. Then I tried my best to practice it. Now ,I played it better and better.
During the process, I learnt a lot of things. I knew not only new badminton skills, but also new spirit. I knew we should try our best to do things, and then we can have the chance to success. After the process, I became hard-working; I began to do everything careful. I focus on all the things I should do. At the beginning, I failed. When I wanted to give up, I thought of the experience in the badminton club, so I did not stop to do and made my mind to do until the end. Finally, I became successful.
Through my experience, I knew that the importance of working with other people. When we worked with other people, we should comminute with them. We should not go to the dangerous place and we should do the warm up exercises. The badminton club let me know a lot. I like it very much..This year, our school held a badminton match.I joined the game and got the third one!
It is very good for me.I got a lot knowlage by this match.I know there are too many students play badminton than me,so I need to practice itfrom time to time.This is the way to province my badminton skills.Next year, I will join the badminton club too.I also know I can get more skills in next year.Our leader who called Leo asked us that we will have more matches in next year.When I heared this news,I was so excited,because I can province my badminton!

Sculptures in NanJing University
The students in10-C and 10-A went to Nanjing University to see the exhibition about sculptures. Most sculptures were made by Wu Weishan, a famous sculptor. We saw many art works there. There were also some other artists’ artworks. These artworks are contemporary.Really, visit thi exhibition can let me get more and more knowlage.I was enjoy it.
During this exhibition,I found a lot of good things .I like sleeping child best. I feel very peaceful and comfortable when I saw this artwork. I remember that the curator which in charge of the museum just told us the story of the source of the “sleeping child”. The portrait was modeled on a visit to a friend house. The child had fallen asleep with its mouth opened because it had difficulty breathing through the nose. Mr. Wu couldn’t wait any more and finished this artwork immediately because the baby’s lovely face attractive him extremely and deeply. Therefore, Mr. Wu wanted to use this sculpture to show us the children are the hope of the nation. I asked myself “did I also looked lovely and did I like an angel when I was young？” Thus, I thought whether Mr. Wu have recalled the days of childhood to him or not.
I like the artwork——“sleeping child” extremely. It gives me a feeling of purity. As an angel, this artwork may represent the peaceful and hopeful. In the other hand, Wu Weishan used the different technician to the traditional technician. Anthony Stones said “the method which up till now has not been a method is the painter’s best method”. We can see, Mr. Wu’s technician is considered. The sleeping child is most successful to Mr. Wu，and this artwork won the highest awards. Just imagine everything just like the child’s face, innocence and goodness. Such a wonderful world it is. I think other people might appreciate the artworks, ether. He is the wonder in our country, even though in the world.
Professor Wu Weishan is the Director of the Institute of Fine Arts of Nanjing University, and studied Psychology at Peking University, EKWC and Art of the University of Washington, USA. From his artwork, we can find he is good at the sculptures. He has already created sculptures of more than 200 famous people, Chinese and Western. Some of these are realistic, others are enjoyable. This enjoyable is both between traditional and contemporary. Thus, Wu Weishan’s artworks are almost traditional and contemporary.
I really had a good time during this time. As a Chinese artist, Wu Weishan’s shows the Chinese culture to the world. He let more and more people know the Chinese sculpture. Chinese sculptures always stand out the spirit of the objects. Wu Weishan uses his soul to find the spirit of the object. He shows the Chinese spirit to the world. I know that we should work hard. We should put all of our effort into our work, so that we can be successful. I learnt a lot from the exhibition.

The memory of LUCKYSTAR
Our team had a big dinner with two Grade 12 students in LUCKY STAR. We ate American food in it. LUCKYSTAR is an American style restaurant. We chose this restaurant because the authentic American food and the price were not very expensive. It is in JINLUN plaza near the GOLDEN EAGLE on HanZhong Road. We arrived at there at 6 o’clock and we had a good dinner over there.
I ordered a fillet, a soup and a salad. They looked delicious but I felt salty when I ate steak. The waiter told me that the black pepper sauce here was saltier than common one. So I put too much sauce on the steak.After that,I feel better. My fillet was too salty to eat. The feeling of salt was too bad. I really do not like this kind of sauce. It’s different from Chinese sauce. The salad was the same as the Chinese one. It was better than fillet.
LUCKYSTAR was clean and silent. The decorations were elegant. The customers did not make any noise. Most customers were officers and foreigners. The services were great. In fact,this is a good place to have dinner.
I think if I want to ask out to someone,I will chose this place! The temperature in it was high. The services were great. The manager came and talked with us about the America. She asked if we had a great dinner.
